Where do I put my boxes for pick-up?

Your boxes and other items need to be right at your dorm room door to facilitate easy pick-up by our movers.

When will my boxes be picked-up?

You will choose a day and time for pick-up when you place your order.

Who will pick-up my boxes or my other items?

PennMoveOut hires trained, licensed movers to handle all of your belongings.

Do I have to sign in the movers?

Yes, Penn Public Safety and Housing require students to sign movers into the dorm.

Do I have to be present when my boxes are picked up?

Someone will need to sign and release the items to PennMoveOut. We prefer that the student is present to make this authorization, but you can designate someone else to sign for you.

Can I have items picked up off campus?

Yes, we will pick up and deliver items within 5 blocks of the Penn campus. Live further away? Please contact us as there may be an additional delivery surcharge.

Can I add more boxes or furniture for storage the day of pick-up?

We need an minimum of 24 hours to arrange to add items to pick-up.
